Reacting to DK Suresh's submission of nomination papers along with DK Shivakumar in Kanakapur, BJP candidate R Ashok said that it would have been fun if DK Suresh contested from Padmanabhanagar.

KPCC president DK Shivakumar has been performing homa and havan for the past two days. They have great faith in astrology. Perhaps the astrologers told Suresh to stop in his field. R.Ashok Tong, BJP candidate from Kanakpur constituency, said that he has stopped his brother D.K.Suresh in Kanakpur for that.
